With a focus on Dorset Badminton.

Junior Sponsorship

We are honoured to be able to contribute to a group of talented junior badminton players in the Dorset area as well as to our friend and trusted coach Tom Ashford. My business partner and I are both very fond of the sport and we both like to follow the progress of rising stars. This year for 2017 we provided Yonex t-shirts for all the juniors who attend a session Tom runs every week at David Lloyd club in Poole. May we take this opportunity to wish them joy and success in years to come.

David Lloyd League

Another sponsorship programme of ours is helping to fund the David Lloyds Men’s Doubles 1st team as well as the Mixed 1st team and the Mens Doubles 3rd team. Fellow director Mark Taylor regularly plays in both first team matches for which we provide shuttlecocks for all teams for every home game. We also contribute to the team kit and we are pleased to say both Mens 1st and Mixed 1st are set to win this season.

World Class Potential Jack the Hat.

TPG's first sponsored player Jack Moore from Dorset, England no.1 for U11 Boys Singles.

We are delighted to be able to support the flourishing progress of the lovely always smiling Jack Moore as he continues to improve on his badminton career. Jack is known by his coaches and friends to always be wearing his trademark farmers hat as well as his never quit attitude.

Some of Jack’s most recent results include silver in Boys singles and gold in Boys doubles at the U11 national championships as well as winning Boys singles at the Webber U11 at Milton Keynes. Jack plays almost everyday and has regular individual sessions with his coach Tom Ashford. We mostly contribute to Jacks sportswear and equipment but we hope to be more involved in the near future. Best of luck with the season ahead Jack, keep smiling :)

A coach, mentor and friend to his players.

It is a privilege to be able to help support the work of Level 3 Qualified coach Tom Ashford.

Its rare to find a coach who gives their free time for the benefit of others and just because they enjoy doing so too. Thats why a coaching session usually feels like a transaction, just someone you go and see when you pay them for the hour. But Tom is different, he’s there for his players, he goes to tournaments with them, helps them off-court, raises funding for them and most of all he knows the importance of having fun.

Tom is head badminton coach at David Lloyd in Poole and is also a coach for the Bournemouth Performance Centre working alongside former gold medalist at the 1982 Commonwealth Games and MBE appointed Helen Troke. Tom is also part of the Yonex Stringing Team and he has been awarded the most advanced certificate by Badminton England for his ability to develop high-level badminton players and lead through his role as Head Coach.
